Barr + Zubrowski Architectural Studio, is dedicated to the enhancement of the built environment through creative solutions, excellence in design and quality of construction.  The success of each of our commissions has come from defining an architectural and urban character that is uniquely appropriate. Our Architecture balances innovative design, advanced technology and distinctive personal service to provide creative and practical solutions. We maintain the principle that the places we make must serve our client’s needs, while enhancing the overall quality of their community.

Each project, born out of initial constraints, the site, the clients’ needs and budget, develops into a unique and remarkable piece of architecture. Recognizing that all projects must be viable, the philosophy of our firm is excellence through design, effective planning and precise construction documents.

We lead by a management team that includes architects, planners, designers and illustrators. This team of design professionals is the key to your projects’ success. For your project, selected members of our staff will be organized around a team leader, a project manager with a proven track record on projects like your own. This individual maintains continuity from initial design concept to completion of construction to assure that your projects objectives are met, within the budget you establish and the schedule you set.

Ron Barr
President

Ron Barr graduated with a Masters of Architecture degree from Tulane University in New Orleans, La in 1991. After graduation Ron worked in a small A/E firm before joining one of South Florida’s premier industrial developers. Several years later Ron was approached by the Levitz Furniture, the countries largest furniture retail. As Vice President of Architecture and Construction at Levitz Furniture, Ron managed a multi-million dollar annual budget for the expansion and redevelopment of 119 retail showrooms and distribution facilities. In 2001 Ron formed Barr & Zubrowski Architectural Studio with Darius Zubrowski.

Darius Zubrowski
Principal

Darius graduated from Florida Atlantic University in 1999 with a Bachelors of Architecture degree. After graduation Darius worked in the same A/E firm as Ron in Deerfield Beach, FL. Years later Darius joined a larger Architectural firm in Boca Raton focusing on restaurant, hospitality and condominium work. Several years later Darius joined Ron and formed Barr & Zubrowski Architectural Studio in 2001.
